Kitzsteinhorn Explorer Tour: Ranger Expedition through Four Climate Zones

On 30 June 2026, the Kitzsteinhorn Explorer Tour takes you through four climate zones with a national park ranger – from Kaprun up via cable car rides and short walks to the TOP OF SALZBURG at 3,029 metres. Starting at 09:00, participants spend around three and a half hours learning about glacier formation, alpine flora and fauna, and the modern 3K K-onnection cableway. The tour ends on the panoramic platforms with sweeping views across the Hohe Tauern.
