Silent Cinema: Open-Air Cinema at the Kaprun Power Station

The Ö3 Silent Cinema Open Air Kino Tour stops in Kaprun in 2026 – right at the Hauptstufe power station. What makes it special: every guest receives their own wireless headphones and chooses between the German dubbed version and the original soundtrack. The audience decides in advance which film will be shown via an online vote. Doors open at 7:15 pm and the film starts at 8:45 pm. Tickets cost 9 euros per person and are available online in advance and, subject to availability, at the box office. Seats cannot be reserved, but every guest is guaranteed a deck chair.
