Nature Ranger Hike to the Fürthermoaralm

On this guided ranger tour in the Hohe Tauern National Park, nature lovers hike from the national-park info hut by the Mooserboden mountain restaurant up to the Fürthermoaralm. The trail leads gently downhill, with wide views over the imposing reservoirs and flowering alpine meadows. Along the way an experienced ranger explains the alpine flora and fauna as well as the history of the reservoirs and the national park. A rest stop at the Fürthermoaralm invites lingering before the same route leads back – with a little luck you may even spot griffon vultures at their roosting cliff.
