Kids Trail Kaprun

The Kids Trail Kaprun is the junior race of The North Face Großglockner Ultra-Trail and gives children and teenagers their first taste of trail running in a safe setting. Two courses are available: 1.4 kilometres with 14 metres of ascent for school years 1 to 4, and 3.8 kilometres with 120 metres of ascent for school years 5 to 9.

Start and finish are at Salzburger Platz in Kaprun. While the short loop runs on surfaced paths, the junior course partly follows natural trails and crosses a suspension bridge. All participants receive a starter gift, a finisher medal, timing with a certificate and a refreshment station at the finish. The net proceeds from the entry fees go to the Kinderwünsche Pinzgau initiative.
