Kapruner Dorffest – Kaprun Village Festival

On 15 August the centre of Kaprun turns into one long festival mile: the Kapruner Dorffest brings brass bands and Alpine traditions together with hearty specialities from the Pinzgau kitchen. From 11:30 am changing music groups play around Salzburgerplatz, while the village clubs look after food and drink. Families get their own children’s programme with face painting and the Crazy Wave ride. Anyone staying late can take the free shuttle home, which leaves the Schaufelberg car park at 1:00 am and again at 2:30 am.
