Cello and accordion are rarely heard together: in their programme “Syncopair”, Marlene Förstel and Michael Schwarzenbacher pair the warm voice of the cello with the breathing sound of the accordion. Between Piazzolla’s tango, de Falla’s Spanish fire and Stravinsky’s tarantella, southern temperament, quiet melancholy and driving rhythms take turns, joined by contemporary pieces by Galliano and Bartolomey. The Jeunesse concert in the parish hall starts at 7:30 pm.
