What to expect: the International Schmitten Downhill Golf Trophy is a particularly fascinating golf tournament that combines traditional golf with the breathtaking backdrop of the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See. It is played on exactly the slopes where skiers race down into the valley in winter. Scoring: all team handicaps are added together and then divided by the number of players. It is a stroke-count competition where every shot counts. Playing time is a maximum of 4 hours. Play follows neither the rules of the R&A CC St Andrews nor the competition conditions of the ÖGV.
