Along an easy circular trail through the spa park, visitors encounter eight contemporary sculptures in stone, wood and metal – created on site by international artists. A modern multimedia experience connects classical sculpture with digital interpretation.

Art Meets Nature – the Trail through the Spa Park

The SkulpturPark extends along the well-marked circular trail through Thumersbach spa park. The eight stations are harmoniously embedded in the natural landscape, inviting visitors to pause, observe and reflect. Whether families with children, art enthusiasts or walkers – the park is free of charge and open year-round.

Multimedia Art Mediation via Smartphone

Each sculpture is equipped with a digital information point – without any app installation. Visitors can access in-depth information about the artists and their works via QR code, NFC tag or Bluetooth. This innovative approach makes the sculpture park a modern, interactive experience for the whole family.

Site-Specific: Art Created on Location

What makes the SkulpturPark Thumersbach special: the works were created directly on site by the artists – without thematic constraints, with the goal of establishing a dialogue between sculpture, material and the specific place. Artists represented include Friedrich Eigner, Michael Kos, Andreas Kuhnlein and Cornelia Moinat. Their works in stone, wood and metal demonstrate the timeless power of traditional sculpture.

Perfect Combined with a Trip to the Lakeshore

Thumersbach is situated directly on Lake Zell and is easily reached by boat or bicycle from Zell am See. After the art walk, the lakeshore invites you to linger, swim or enjoy a coffee at one of the nearby cafés. The SkulpturPark is therefore a perfect starting point for a relaxed summer day in the region.

Thumersbach and Zell am See – a Cultural Summer Treat

Sculpture and lake, art and Alpine nature – the SkulpturPark Thumersbach is a unique highlight in the experience offering of Zell am See-Kaprun.
