The part that matters for you as a visitor \u2013 taking part is explicitly open to all guests<\/strong>, not just registered dance groups. No club membership, no proof of anything.<\/p>\n\n

If you want to join in, learn the choreography beforehand. It is published in advance, and seeing it for the first time on the day is not a realistic way to dance it cleanly in a record formation.<\/p>\n\n

Where exactly is the venue?<\/h2>\n\n

The venue is the Maiskogel car park, Kitzsteinhornplatz 8, Kaprun<\/strong> \u2013 the valley station area on the edge of Kaprun, not the village centre. That matters for planning: it is a few minutes\u2019 walk from central Kaprun, and from Zell am See you take the bus.<\/p>\n\n

If you are staying in Zell am See without a car, the Zell am See\u2013Kaprun bus runs frequently and is free with the mobility card you receive from your accommodation from the first overnight stay. If you drive, factor in that the car park itself becomes the festival site.<\/p>\n\n

Tickets<\/h2>\n\n

Tickets are sold through the official festival website \u2013 not through the tourism region and not at your accommodation. Prices and ticket categories are set by the organiser and change from year to year, so we deliberately quote no figures that could be wrong by the time you visit.<\/p>\n\n

What else to do while you are there<\/h2>\n\n

Guided excursions into the surrounding mountains are part of the programme \u2013 this is not purely a dance event. Since you are standing at the foot of the Maiskogel anyway, going up is the obvious move: the Maiskogel connects to the Kitzsteinhorn<\/a> and the Gipfelwelt 3000<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n
